How a PoppiPay load is priced

PoppiPay prices a load from the card credit you choose. At 5%, $100 of credit costs $5 and debits $105. The $10 issue fee is only for a new card.

The number you care about is the card credit. The loading fee is a percent of that number, rounded half up. It is added on top. It is not skimmed out of the credit, so a $100 credit arrives as $100 on the card.

At the opening tier the rate is 5%. A $100 credit costs $5 and the wallet debit is $105. A $500 credit costs $25 and debits $525. A $1,000 credit costs $50 and debits $1,050. If the card is new, add $10 once.

The tier looks at successful card credit in the previous 30 days, before this load. Cross a threshold and the next quote is cheaper. Fall back under it and a later quote can be more expensive. A single load uses one rate.
